The length of the Soeginina cliff is about 500 metres. The height of the cliff extends to 3–4 metres. In the stratification of the Rootsiküla Village, the dolomites and dolomitic limestones from the layers of Soeginina and Vesku become exposed. From the lower layers of rocks, the fossils of eurypterides (commonly known as sea scorpions), big cephalopoda (molluscs) and ostracods (seed shrimps) are known. In the middle layer, there are many globular oncolites (seaweed formations) and, in the upper layer, stromatolites with a layered structure.
