Manor was established in the Middle Ages as an auxiliary manor to a Cistercian nunnery. The manor survived without major reconstructions until 1939, when the wooden parts of the building – which by then had fallen out of use – were demolished. Its ruined stone sections can still be found on the site. The ruins are in danger of collapsing.
