Uue-Saaluse village Lake Kavadi is a lake with a shoreline with the most arms in Estonia. Lake Kavadi gained today’s shape in 1880 when, as a result of obstruction of drainage, three small lakes of that time became one picturesque body of water with a shoreline with many arms. There are four islands in the lake – Vabrikusaar, Lehesaar and two smaller islands covered in bushes. There are also floating islands. The lake was barraged by Constantin Fr. von Maydell, the owner of Uue-Saluse manor. There is a 2.2 km hiking trail running around the lake.
