Matsalu tourism area

Põldotsa farm is a cozy Estonian country home, not a typical tourist farm, which takes you back in time as if you were going to the country with your grandmother and grandfather. The Clean Water Theme Park and Ubari Center of Natural Wisdom in the Lahemaa region offer a number of services: hikes, excursions, environmental education, recreation and rehabilitation, a natural wisdom hobby school, and hobby groups for children and young people. The goal is to increase people’s environmental awareness, promote sustainable living and demonstrate how human activity impacts nature. Alutaguse Hiking Club organises walking, snowshoeing, skiing, scooter trips and foraging hikes primarily in the natural environments of Alutaguse and Lahemaa National Park in Ida-Viru and Lääne-Viru County. In addition, with more than 40 programmes, the club is one of the largest environmental education providers in both Ida-Viru and Lääne-Viru County. The club also organises training courses (eg for hiking guides, hiking coaches, study programme instructors), youth camps, hiking and climbing competitions and the SeiklusFest adventure festival. 'Our sustainable hikes, nature-watching hikes, environmental education programmes and training courses make us a recognised service provider in both Lahemaa and Alutaguse National Park and a partner for both state institutions and the private sector.
