Winter floods in Soomaa have become common in the recent years. The new year 2025, has also started with a flood. This time most of the roads passing through Soomaa are flooded. Currently, only Kõpu-Tõramaa-Jõesuu road is passable.

The road to the Ingatsi study trail and to the Karuskose rental hut is closed for construction. When visiting the Soomaa National Park use other study- or hiking trails instead, as traffic on the Karuskose road disturbs the construction of the road. We apologize for the inconvenience. 

Nine tourism companies following the principles of sustainable tourism were awarded the sustainable nature tourism quality label.
