Cultural heritage

Nikolai von Glehn, the owner of Jälgimäe Manor near Tallinn, built himself a new dwelling on the slope of Mustamäe at the end of the 19th century. It was the Kõrgepea cattle manor (Hohenhaupt), now known as Glehn Castle. The sculptures ‘Crocodile’ "Krokodill" and ‘Kalev’s Son’, "Kalevipoeg" created by the manor owner, are in the park near the castle. The castle and sculptures are under heritage protection.
